Folkston ICE Annex Overview
The Folkston ICE Processing Center Annex is an ICE detention facility operated by The GEO Group under ICE contract. ICE treats the annex as a separate facility page with its own visitation schedule details. The annex holds adult immigration detainees in ICE custody, not general Charlton County jail inmates.
The annex address is 3424 Hwy 252 E, P.O. Box 248, Folkston, GA 31537. The facility phone is 912-496-6905, and the Atlanta Field Office phone is 404-893-1210. The official ICE page did not provide a current exact capacity figure in accessible text, so no annex bed count is used. Classification terms on the ICE page describe visit scheduling groups, not a population count.
ICE's annex facility page is the source for the annex schedule, contact details, and service rules.
The annex source image reinforces that this is an ICE facility page, not a Charlton County Jail roster screen.
Folkston ICE Annex Lookup
Lookup for the annex runs through ICE ODLS. ICE search paths use either an A-number and country of birth or biographical information. An A-number search requires a nine-digit A-number. Biographical search uses first name, last name, date of birth, and country of birth. Exact spelling matters, especially for hyphenated names and aliases.
The annex page also gives a phone route for detainee contact. Call 912-496-6905 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. with first, last, and hyphenated names, aliases, date of birth, and country of birth. Detainees cannot receive incoming calls. Urgent messages require the detainee's full name, A-number, caller name, and caller phone.
- Search ICE ODLS by A-number and country of birth when the A-number is known.
- Use biographical search when only name, date of birth, and country of birth are known.
- If the detainee is not found, call the annex during the listed contact window with aliases and full birth details.
- Confirm whether the person is at the annex or the main Folkston ICE Processing Center before planning a visit.
Folkston ICE Annex Contact
The facility phone is used for detainee contact routing, urgent messages, clergy arrangements, and rule confirmation. Case information requests for detainees housed at the annex can be sent to Folkston.Outreach@ice.dhs.gov. That email is for ICE case routing, not a county criminal case file. County criminal charges, if any, remain with the court and prosecutor that filed them.

Folkston ICE Annex Cases
Immigration case questions follow federal immigration routes. The ICE annex page lists Folkston.Outreach@ice.dhs.gov for case information requests tied to detainees housed at the annex. Immigration court information can be requested through the court information line at 1-800-898-7180. Board of Immigration Appeals information can be requested at 703-605-1007.
ICE bond is not the same as Charlton County criminal bond. A delivery or departure bond in removal proceedings is part of the immigration system. A state or local criminal bond is handled by the court or jail tied to that criminal case. When a person has both immigration and criminal matters, each case system should be checked separately.
- Classification
- An ICE security or housing assessment that can affect visit times.
- Legal mail
- Mail from legal representatives or legal offices handled under special rules.
- Departure bond
- An immigration bond tied to removal proceedings, not a county jail bond.
